What To Expect

Seated amongst flourishing regenerative pastures, wildflowers, and edible flora - guests will be immersed in the heart of a working high-country station, the land which inspires both the evening’s menu and the ethos of Lake Hāwea Station, while hearing from special guest speakers Karen Walker, Sir Ian Taylor, and Professor Parry Guilford.

Guided by acclaimed chef Dane Archery of Archery & Co., the evening celebrates the land with locally sourced, foraged, and masterfully fermented creations. Each dish tells a story of place and season, reflecting the station’s renewable values and Chef Archery’s innovative craft, set against the breathtaking backdrop of Lake Hāwea.

Hosted by Petra Bagust, the evening will feature inspiring conversations with Karen Walker, iconic New Zealand fashion designer and long-time Breast Cancer Cure Ambassador, and Sir Ian Taylor, a pioneering entrepreneur known for his transformative impact on technology and business in New Zealand, and Breast Cancer Cure-funded researcher Professor Parry Guilford on the latest advancements in the search for a cure.

Enjoy Josh Leys live along with complimentary beverages throughout the evening, generously provided by our event sponsors.

Lake Hāwea Station is a Carbon Zero, B-Corp certified farm in the heart of the Southern Alps. Renowned for its regenerative and sustainable farming practices, the Station is committed to tackling climate change and enhancing biodiversity while hosting extraordinary experiences such as Dine for a Cure and Hike For a Cure.
