‘The Great Flockhill Duck Race’ prize includes a one-night stay at Flockhill Lodge Great Alpine Highway, 73 Craigieburn Valley, Lake Pearson, 7580 in a Junior Suite for two guests, including breakfast, lunch and dinner at Sugarloaf, Flockhill’s signature Farm Tour, and non-alcoholic beverages, valued at NZD $4,200.
The competition is promoted by Breast Cancer Cure (CC11205) in partnership with Flockhill Lodge.
All proceeds from the competition support life-changing breast cancer research in Aotearoa New Zealand.
A maximum of 1,000 ducks will be available for purchase across the competition.
To enter, participants must purchase one duck or a flock of ducks. Each duck purchased receives a unique number and counts as one entry into the competition.
Duck purchases are non-refundable.
The official duck race will take place on Wednesday 24 June 2026. The winning duck will be determined by the numbered duck that first crosses the designated finish point during the official race event. Organisers reserve the right to verify and confirm the winning duck number.
Entries close at 11:59pm (NZT), Saturday 13 June 2026.
The winner will be contacted by Breast Cancer Cure via phone and/or email. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within 48 hours, a new winner may be selected.
Prize bookings are subject to availability and valid for selected shoulder season dates only, excluding public holidays and blackout periods. The prize must be redeemed before Wednesday 16 December 2026 for stays until Saturday 19 December 2026.
The prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
Flights, transfers, alcohol, additional activities and incidental expenses are not included unless otherwise stated.
Entrants must be aged 18 years or over.
Breast Cancer Cure and Flockhill Lodge reserve the right to amend, postpone or cancel the competition or race event if circumstances beyond their control arise, including weather, safety concerns or river conditions.
In the event of a dispute, the decision of Breast Cancer Cure and Flockhill Lodge will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
By entering, participants agree that their name and/or image may be used for promotional purposes relating to the competition.
Employees of Breast Cancer Cure and Flockhill Lodge, along with their immediate family members, are not eligible to enter the competition.
