Kowtow

Kowtow is an independent label founded by Gosia Piatek in Wellington. For seventeen years their garments have been made naturally from a single fibre, Fairtrade organic cotton. Kowtow holds certifications with Fairtrade, Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) and BCorp. They take responsibility for what they produce, how they operate their business and are actively working on solutions to reduce their footprint. The clothing forms a modular wardrobe and can be worn again and again, year after year. This is a cause that is close to all of us, being able to contribute to the future of women’s health and wellbeing through our design work has been a great collaboration.
