For Fiona, the co-founder of Sidekick Soda, this collaboration is deeply personal. After losing her mother, Irene, to cancer following a long journey with breast cancer, supporting the cause became something close to her heart. Earlier this year, Fiona joined hundreds of hikers at Hike for a Cure, taking on the demanding Double Summit challenge across Breast Peak and Breast Hill in support of breast cancer research. Now, with the launch of Sidekick Soda’s new Watermelon flavour, that support continues - helping fund meaningful research for mums, daughters, sisters, partners and friends across Aotearoa New Zealand.
